ROLLA, Mo. -- Traci Holcomb scored with 20:47 to play in regulation time Saturday night, allowing the Lady Miner soccer team to finish in a tie with Rockhurst at the UMR Soccer Complex.

Holcomb's game after a corner kick attempt was cleared out to Barb Porter, who then put the ball back in front of the net. In the ensuing scramble, Holcomb knocked the ball past goalie Kari Dwyer.

The teams could not score after that, although the Lady Miners had a great chance early in the second overtime when Porter's shot clanked off the goal post.

Rockhurst (8-1-1) got on the board at the 30:18 mark when Molly Wiman headed in a long pass from Blair Chamblin.

Ana Mora made eight saves in goal for UMR, which will take a 3-4-2 record into Wednesday's home game against Southwest Baptist at 5 p.m.
