MANKATO, Minn. -- Minnesota State-Mankato broke a scoreless tie by scoring three times in the second half and went on to post a 3-0 victory over the Lady Miners Saturday.

Shanna Good's goal 9:35 into the second half broke the tie and Randi Warhol scored just over three minutes later to give the Mavericks a 2-0 advantage. Danni Klinsing scored the Mavericks' final goal with just over three minutes to play in the game.

Mankato (2-2) held a huge advantage over UMR in shots at 33-6. Lady Miner goalie Ana Mora was credited with 12 saves.

The Lady Miners (1-1) will face St. Cloud State (2-4) Sunday in Mankato. St. Cloud State beat Southern Indiana 2-0 on Saturday.
