FULTON, Mo. -- The Miners played to a scoreless tie Wednesday at William Woods in a game that was called after the first overtime due to darkness.
UMR, despite being outshot 15-13 in the game, played solid defense all afternoon in recording the team's first shutout of the season. However, the Miners were unable to get a shot past Owl goalie Greg Scott.
The Miners will host Truman Sunday at 1 p.m.
