INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- John McQueary's goal with 3:47 left to play finished a wild second half and allowed the visiting Miners to knock off the University of Indianapolis 4-3 Wednesday.

McQueary's goal, on an assist from Adam Dancler, broke a three-all tie and concluded the scoring in a second half in which five goals were scored. The Greyhounds scored three times in the half to erase Miner leads of 2-0 and 3-2 before McQueary's game-winning goal.

UMR (2-1) took the 2-0 lead late in the first half on goals by freshmen E.J. Klapperich and Mark Nammari just over three minutes apart. Klapperich scored on an assist from Jeremy Bruno at the 37:27 mark, then Nammari scored at 40:28 on an assist from Tom Buerk.

The Greyhounds (0-4-1) tied the game when Ralph Richards scored twice early in the second half, the latter on a penalty kick. However, Klapperich scored for the second time at 61:17 to give UMR the lead back at 3-2.

Danilo Moriera tied the score again with a goal at 67:41, setting the stage for the dramatic finish.

Todd Wilfling made three saves in goal for the Miners, who outshot Indianapolis 18-7.

UMR will host Quincy Saturday at 7 p.m.
