Welcome to
the Missouri University of Science and Technology website of the Gamma
Iota chapter of Phi Sigma. Phi Sigma is a national
biological sciences honor society open to seniors,
juniors, and a few deserving sophomores who major or
minor in biological sciences here at MS&T and have a
comparable academic record that shows their devotion to
the subject. Invitations to join our chapter go
out at the beginning of the Spring semester.
Phi Sigma
takes pride in helping the Biological Sciences
Department in various activities including the
Homecoming Ice Cream Social and the Graduation Barbeque.
Our members have been known to assist at the Ecology Day
at the Bray Conservation Site and during MS&T's Expanding
Your Horizons day. Our chapter has also hosted
Earth Day writing contests to local schools.
