The South Central Missouri Local Section of the American Chemical Society invites letters of nomination for the Outstanding High School Chemistry Teacher's Award. This Award recognizes outstanding contributions to the education of young people in Chemistry, and consists of a special plaque and a check for $300. The award may be given annually based on the nomination of a deserving applicant and the availability of funds.

Awardees will typically be announced in October and the awardees recognized at a Local Section ACS meeting.
