CAMT

The Center for Aerospace Manufacturing Technologies (CAMT) was established in May 2004 by the Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) in partnership with Boeing Phantom Works in St. Louis, Missouri and the Air Force Research Laboratory in Dayton, Ohio. It serves as a center of excellence in the U.S. for the development and transition of innovative advanced technologies for the aerospace manufacturing supply chain.

CAMT has an array of technologies devoted to advancing manufacturing fabrication and assembly. Over thirty-five faculty members and more than sixty research staff and students from several academic disciplines perform multi-disciplinary research. Our R&D creates knowledge, methodologies, and tools that reduce costs and time to market of products, as well as improve quality, productivity, reliability, and safety in aerospace manufacturing.

An Industrial Consortium has been formed by the Center for Aerospace Manufacturing Technologies. Realizing the unique value and importance of CAMT to industry, a CAMT Industrial Consortium has been established, with the goal that the Center’s research can benefit all members of this consortium and its R&D activities can be directed by the consortium members.
