LTC Brenden Burke

LTC Brenden Burke is a native of Calhoun, Georgia and was commissioned as a Chemical Officer from North Georgia College and State University in 1991 where he received Bachelor of Science degree in History and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. During college, he was simultaneously serving in the Georgia Army National Guard including an activation for Operation DESERT STORM. LTC Burke’s first assignment was as the Chemical / Assistant Operations Officer for the 1st Battalion, 10th Cavalry at Ft Knox, KY. He later served as the senior Instructor/Writer for Chemical Branch at the US Army Armor School at Ft. Knox before transitioning to the Adjutant General (AG) Corps as part of the Branch Detail program. As an AG officer, LTC Burke was the Assistant S1 for the 172nd Infantry Brigade (Separate) at Ft. Wainwright, AK and Commander for Detachment of the 203rd Personnel Services Battalion. His next assignment was as Chief, Inspections division for the Army Signal Command (NETCOM) Inspector General Office where he completed his Masters in Business Administration from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. LTC Burke served as Deputy, Programs and Policies for 3rd Army at Ft. McPherson, GA and was subsequently deployed to Kuwait in support of Operations ENDURING FREEDOM and IRAQI FREEDOM. LTC Burke was selected to attend Air Command and Staff College at Maxwell Air Force Base where he earned a Masters Degree in Operational Military Art and Science and then assigned as the Executive Officer for the 516th Personnel Services Battalion in Korea. His next assignment was as the Assistant Professor of Military Science at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. His most recent assignment was as Chief, Human Resources Services Division for the Eighth United States Army in Korea. LTC Burke was assigned as Professor of Military Science for Missouri University of Science and Technology in June 2009.

LTC Burke's awards and decorations include: Bronze Star; Meritorious Service Medal (5); Army Commendation Medal (4); Army Achievement Medal (3); National Defense Service Medal (2 stars); Army Service Ribbon; Overseas Service Ribbon (2); Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; Korean Defense Service Medal (2); the Joint Meritorious Unit Award; the Army Superior Unit Award; and the Parachutist Badge.

He is married to the former Barbara Carr of Ft Myers Beach, FL, and has been blessed with two daughters
– Katherine and Emily.

I am currently pursuing a Masters in Accounting and Financial Management at the University of Maryland University College. Once I complete my master’s education, I plan on taking the CPA exam and then becoming an estate planner and financial advisor. I graduated from Oklahoma State in May 2003 with a Bachelor of Art in Economics. I commissioned through state OCS in September 2002. I am a graduate of the resident Infantry Company Commander’s Course, Fort Benning, GA in December 2006. I graduated the Infantry Officer Basic Course at Fort Benning, GA in December 2003. I am currently assigned as the company commander for B/1-179 IN as of March 2009. From 2007 to 2009, I was assigned as the 1-179 IN Battalion S-1 during our OIF deployment. I was the Company Executive Officer for D/1-179 IN from 2005 to 2007. I was assigned as a Heavy Weapons Platoon Leader in D/1-179 IN 2004 to 2005, which was during our mobilization for the Katrina Hurricane Relief. In 2004, I was assigned as a Light Infantry Platoon Leader in A/1-279 IN during our OEF deployment. I received my commission in 2002 and I was assigned as a Heavy Weapons Platoon Leader in D/1-179 IN until my deployment to Afghanistan in 2004.

My awards include: Combat Infantryman
’s Badge, Bronze Star, Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, Army Commendation Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Achievement Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, Armed Forces Reserve Medal with “M” device, National Defense Service Medal, and the Army Service Ribbon.

I live in Broken Arrow, OK with my wife Jackie Shawnee. We currently do not have any children, but have a son due in September 2009. My current occupation is Assistant Professor of Military Science/Senior Military Science Instructor at the Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, MO. My duties include recruiting, military science instruction, cadet mentor, community and campus liaison, and operations officer. My previous occupation was as a Mortgage Officer for the Mortgage Doctor in Tulsa, OK.

SFC Michael P. Moore grew up in Flagler Beach, Florida, where he graduated from Flagler Palm Coast High School in 1994. He entered the Army in 1995 and attended Basic Training and Advance Individual Training at Fort Sill, OK. His current assignment is the Missouri University of Science and Technology where he is a Military ROTC Instructor.

Previous assignments include Battalion Master Gunner in HHB 3-321ST FAR, Fort Bragg, NC. AIT Instructor 1-78th FA at Fort Sill, OK, Howitzer Section Chief in 1-9th FA 3D IN Div (MECH), Gunner for the 2-11th FA, 25th IN Div, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii and Cannon Crew Member for 1-8th FA, 25TH IN DIV, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.

SFC Moore has participated in numerous deployments to include OIF I and OEF VIII. He is a graduate of ANCOC, BNCOC, PLDC, Field Artillery Master Gunner School and Air Assault School.

His awards include the Bronze Star Medal, Army Commendation Medal (4OLC), Army Achievement Medal (4OLC), National Defense Service Medal (1 star); Army Service Ribbon; Overseas Service Ribbon (3); Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; Iraq Campaign Medal (2 Stars), Afghanistan Campaign Medal; the Presidential Unit Award; the Combat Action Badge and the Air Assault Badge.

He is married to the former Amy Marie Holtz of Lodi, CA, and has been blessed with two sons; Brian and Dylan.

Jessica Howery is a native to Los Angeles, California. She graduated from Douglas McKay High School in Salem, Oregon and then attended Chemeketa Community College. She was very active in the Army Family Readiness Group while stationed overseas with her husband. She has completed the Army Family Team Building Instructor training and is currently the Stonehenge Battalion representative. She became apart of the team as an Administrative Assistant for the Stonehenge Battalion in April 2008.

Angie Combs is a native of Missouri. She attended Columbia College. She is very active with her family. She has one daughter, Shaniah and twin sons, Kaleb and Dakota.

Angela has been with Missouri University of Science and Technology since December 2002. She has worked with different departments on campus but found her team/home with Army ROTC when she came to work as an Administrative Assistant in October 2009 with the Stonehenge Battalion.

Justin Prosser

Justin Prosser is a native of Reno, Nevada. He graduated from Wooster High School in Nevada then he joined the service in August of 1995. He was an Infantryman with 1/27 Infantry Battalion at Schofield Barracks, HI and 5/20 Infantry at Ft. Lewis, WA. He was Airborne and Air Assault qualified. He achieved the rank of Sergeant and got out of the service in June of 2002. He was a nuclear security supervisor in Waterford, CT from August 2002 to July 2006 and then became a Juvenile corrections officer from July 2006 to July 2009 in Ashland, OH. He moved to Rolla, MO to become a part of the team as a supply tech for the Stonehenge Battalion in July of 2009.

He met and married his wife in Hawaii in 1997 and are the proud parents of two boys. He enjoys spending time with his family, coaching, playing, and watching sports.
